MVME2432 belongs to Motorola classic MVME2400 PowerPlus II VME embedded single board computer series, launched in 1995, widely adopted as core main controller for heavy-duty industrial distributed control, turbine VME racks, nuclear safety monitoring and offshore hazardous area automation systems. Adopts low-power high-performance PowerPC 750 RISC processor with three frequency variants (333MHz / 366MHz / 400MHz), equipped with independent L1/L2 cache to guarantee stable microsecond-level real-time control cycle execution under heavy logic load. Onboard ECC error-correcting SDRAM eliminates single-bit memory corruption risks critical for power generation safety control. Built-in non-volatile flash firmware storage and battery-backed NVRAM preserve control programs, parameter setpoints and fault SOE logs after full power loss. Two full-size PMC mezzanine expansion slots support dual independent PCI peripheral daughter cards (serial communication, analog I/O, extra Ethernet, fieldbus gateways), flexible expanding field signal acquisition and communication channels without occupying extra VME rack slots. Front panel integrates independent 10/100 Ethernet and dual RS232 console ports for upper SCADA data upload and local program download & troubleshooting.
